ANC Vessels receive AMVER Award Certificates by US Coast Guard

Mr Markos J.Xylas was presented on behalf of ANC with four AMVER award Certificates during a ceremony that took place in the Athenaeum InterContinental Hotel in Athens.  

By collaborating with ships from hundreds of nations, ANC’s fleet continues to contribute to a global maritime safety network, providing vital support to search and rescue coordinators responding to emergencies at sea.

In 2024 alone, 6,134 vessels achieved at least 128 days “on-plot” in the AMVER system, contributing to the rescue of 225 lives worldwide.
