ANC successfully organized its 5th Seafarers conference in Manila, spanning three enriching days from the 8th of November 2017.
With an impressive turnout, the conference boasted a record attendance of approximately 80 esteemed Deck and Engine officers and ratings.
The event featured a diverse lineup of speakers, including department managers from ANC's Piraeus Head office, dedicated staff from ANC's Manila office, and a respected representative from the Marshall Islands Flag Administration.
Throughout the conference, attendees were treated to a series of insightful presentations. These sessions covered the latest updates on essential case studies with a focus on operational, technical, and safety (ISM/ISPS) matters, providing valuable knowledge and enhancing the participants' expertise.
In addition to the informative content, the forum dedicated time to address various pertinent topics. Seagull's platform training updates, Danaos erp updates, and discussions on emerging cybersecurity issues were among the crucial subjects deliberated during the conference. Notably, participants were also introduced to a novel health insurance program tailored for the families of the esteemed fleet crew, demonstrating ANC's commitment to the well-being of its seafarers and their loved ones.
One of the pivotal aspects of the conference revolved around the latest Port State Control (PSC) updates.
