4th Ariston Navigation Seafarers Conference

​​​​The 4th ANC seafarers conference, a three-day event, commenced on 15th of May 2017 with an attendance of about 60 Deck and Engine officers and ratings. The speakers were from ANC Piraeus Head office, ANC Manila office staff included Marshall Islands Flag Administration representative.
 
The issues that presented were Operational, Technical, Crewing and Safety (ISM/ISPS) latest updates. 

Furthermore, PSC deficiencies of the fleet during the last 12 months were analyzed, as well as the Rightship organization and its impact on the fleet. The Seagull platform training updates were introduced by Mr Katsivardelos (ANC Crew manager), and case studies of the fleet showing operational and technical failures and their impact on the company. 

Finally, the main speaker Mr.Katsivardelos, introduced Ariston's new website and the ANC e-library.

The conference was concluded with the customary basketball game between the Managers’ team and the Seafarers’ team.
