6th Ariston Navigation Seafarers Conference

ANC held their 6th Seafarers conference in Manilla, a three-day event which started on the 21st November 2018.

The conference had a new record attendance of 94 officers and ratings and was opened by Mr. John A. Xylas, CEO of Ariston and Mr. Arnold B. Javier, President of Magsaysay Maritime Corporation.

The speakers included department managers from ANC head office who covered topics like Safety on board, Operational and Technical matters followed by real case studies and interactive workshops.

As guest speaker, Mr. A. Gosh, representative from the U.K P&I club was invited. Mr. Gosh covered case studies and workshops on enclosed space entry and risk assesment.

The conference was concluded with the customary basketball game between the Managers' team and the Seafarers' team.
