5th Ariston Navigation Seafarers Conference

​ANC held their 5th Seafarers conference in Manila, a 3-day event which started on the 8th of November 2017.

​The conference had a record attendance of about 80 Deck and Engine officers and ratings.
​
The speakers included department managers from ANC Piraeus Head office, ANC Manila office Staff, and a Marshall Islands Flag Administration representative.
 
The presentations covered the latest updates of case studies with operational, technical and safety (ISM/ISPS) interest.

Furthermore, the forum covered Seagull's platform training updates, Danaos erp updates, cybersecurity emerging issues and a new health insurance program that has been offered for the families of the fleet crew.
 
Another important issue presented was the latest PSC updates covering last inspections (Far-East and Australia), and studies covering past cases of the fleet and their impact on the company's fleet.

The conference was concluded with the customary basketball game between the Managers’ team and the Seafarers’ team.
