​Naming and Delivery ceremony for the fourth Sea-Stallion vessel: M/V Abyssinian

​MV Abyssinian, a 36.000 dwt bulker of the most advanced, eco-optimised “SeaStallion” type was named today and will be delivered by CSC Jingling Shipyard, Nanjing, to Ariston Navigation Corp. next week; she will subsequently join the “Sea Stallion Pool”.
 
The naming ceremony was attended by the vessel’s owners and the christening was performed by Mrs. Sylvana Papadopoulos, wife of Ariston’s MD Mr. H. Papadopoulos.
 
MV “Abyssinian” is the fourth vessel of a series of eight “SeaStallion” bulkers, which have been ordered by clients of Ariston Navigation Corp. Its design is based on the Seahorse 35 type being in operation success­fully since 2011.

The main characteristics of the “SeaStallion” type are as follows:
