Naming and Delivery ceremony for first Sea-Stallion vessel M/V Ardennes

MV Ardennes, a 36.000 dwt bulker of the most advanced, eco-optimized “SeaStallion” type was delivered by CSC Jingling Shipyard, Nanjing, to Ariston Navigation Corp. today and subsequently joined the “Sea Stallion Pool”.
The naming ceremony was attended by the vessel’s owners and the christening was performed by Mrs. Elena Mantzavinou, wife of Ariston’s CEO John A. Xylas.
MV “Ardennes” is the lead vessel of a series of eight “SeaStallion” bulkers, which have been ordered by clients of Ariston Navigation Corp. Its design is based on the Seahorse 35 type being in operation successfully since 2011.
Her maiden voyage will take her from China to the Ivory Coast with a cargo of bulk fertilizers.
